WELCOME TO MYAEPONE MAP MAKER
Myaepone Map Maker is built for people who are new to GIS and anyone who needs a quick, one-off map. Turn your data into a clear map directly in your browser, without installing GIS software.
Add GeoJSON, shapefiles, CSV/TSV coordinates, KML and GPX.
Add country, state/region, district and township boundaries.
Use street, satellite and other basemap styles, or no basemap.
Change colours and symbols, show categories and values, and add labels.
View, edit and join attributes, and filter features into new layers.
Add pins, text, notes, arrows, drawings and local images.
Arrange an A4/A3 map with a title, legend and scale. Export PNG or PDF.
Save a project file to your device and reopen it to keep working.
Restore your last browser draft, including layers, map view and layout. This replaces the current workspace. Save any new work first.
The recovered draft is a local browser copy. Use Save As or reopen your project file to save progress to disk.
Choose a project file once. Further saves update that file with your latest progress.
Your layers, styles and map view are saved in a .myaepone.json file.
Opening this project replaces the current workspace, including unfinished drawings. Cancel and save your current project first if you want to keep it.
EXPLORE YOUR DATA
Browse a layer’s attributes. Click a column heading to sort, or select a row to inspect its full values.
There are pending attribute edits. Discard them to continue?
No features match this search.
CONNECT YOUR DATA
Add population, programme results or other attributes using a shared code. Your original layer stays available. Files are processed in your browser.
No coordinates are required.
Use P-codes where possible. Codes are compared as text: 001 and 1 remain different. Blank, boolean and object keys do not match.
Choose a source to see its columns.
For example, joined_population. Existing columns cannot be overwritten.
Leading-zero codes and long identifiers stay text. Empty CSV values become null. A loaded layer keeps its existing value types.
YOUR DATA, ON THE MAP
Choose files or drop them below. Review the layers before adding them to your map.
For an unzipped shapefile, select matching .shp and .dbf files together, plus .prj when available. .shx and .cpg are optional. Up to 200 MB per selection. Choosing files again replaces this preview.
Files are read in your browser and are not uploaded by this importer.
Choose files to preview them before adding.
A PLACE TO BEGIN
Choose the boundaries you need. Each is added as a separate layer.
MAKE YOUR MARK
Choose a shape, then click the map to place it.
FIND WHAT MATTERS
Features must match every condition. Matching features become a new layer.
TAKE YOUR MAP WITH YOU
Choose from your visible layers. PNG uses the current map view and includes basemap attribution.
No visible data layers. PNG can still include the basemap and visible annotations.
PNG includes visible annotations. GeoJSON exports the selected data layers.
